It looks like everyone has pretty much covered how bad this place is. They got me with the temperature. I never got to look at it but now that everyone is putting this all together I am pretty sure they did the same to me as everyone else. I never understood how pee that just came out of my body wasn't warm enough but they dumped it anyways. Make sure to read everyone's reviews because this place is crooked.
I ran into the same problem with this company as everyone else. I have gone multiple times here and their constant knocking at the door every ten seconds and telling you to hurry makes things a pain in the butt to pee. I also had one instance with the brown haired girl from up front where she was saying that she was thinking of dumping it because it wasn't warm enough for her even though the temperature was clearly showing up on the test cup at 94 and climbing. The only reason she said she didn't was because 96 was starting to turn green. The thing was they just had me sign a document saying that it had to be between 90 and 100. I told her I didn't give a bleep and if its reading they better take it. Needles to say, this place gives everyone problems. Watch out when you go here and its true that you probably want to take your phone and record your temp because they tried to get me with that like they did others. I guess I was lucky.
The problem I had with Construction Data Services is that they constantly were tapping on the door within 10 seconds of me walking in there. I literally had enough time to pull down my pants and stand there for 5 seconds before he was knocking telling me to come out if I couldn't pee. I said it wouldn't of been a problem if he wasn't knocking on the door rushing me. I was given the notice that I had to take the pee test that day at the end of my workday so I didn't get there till 4pm and had to pick up my kid by 5:30. So I sat there and drank a bunch of water for an hour and tried again. Guess what he did in about 10 seconds of me being in there. That's right, he was knocking on the door telling me to hurry or come out again. I was so pissed at that point because I had to leave to get my son and they said I would have to take a fail if I did. I asked if I could get him and come right back or even come back first thing in the morning and was told no. So I had to spend a bunch of money on an evaluation and classes for no reason and pay for another test out of my pocket. I felt like they were rushing me and making it hard for me to pee on purpose. After seeing everyone else's reviews it looks like that was exactly what they were doing.
It looks like everyone in construction is coming together and talking about Construction Data Services. There are a lot of people that have had bad experiences here and unfortunately I am one of them. My experience started off with the same girl up front with the brown hair that everyone obviously seems that think is the main culprit. She had a bad attitude like always and was acting like I was bothering her and taking time away from her smart phone.
When we went back to do the pee test everything went fine until I went in and she was constantly tapping on the door while I was trying to pee. It made it so difficult I had to wait for a while until I had to pee horribly bad and even told her to stop doing that it was making things worse for me but she kept right up on it. With how bad I had to pee at that point even her obsessive knocking didn't work. But what it did do is get me so frustrated and flustered with her that I forgot about the no flush thing and accidently flushed the toilet. She then proceeded to tell me that I had to take another or take a fail. I waited till about closing and still didn't have to pee again. I had to take the fail even though I begged them to let me come back the next day and I would even take a observed test. She said no.
I had to waste all sorts of money with the drug evaluation and stupid 10hr classes. I then had to pay out of my own pocket for the next drug test. They got me too with telling me where to go for my evaluation so they probably got the money they were looking for. Everyone has been informed in the construction industry to go to the internet and make sure this stuff is out there for others to know.
This place is horrible. There is a girl at the front desk that is extremely unpleasant to talk to and she gives everyone problems. I actually had her knocking on the door within 1 min of being in there which made it extremely hard to do my business. She then walks in and as I am watching my temperature rise from 92 to 94 and it was still going but she grabs it and dumps it into the toilet and says I have to take another one because it wasn't warm enough. I wouldn't care but I had to pick up my son from school and didn't have a couple hours to sit and wait. She told me that I would have to take a fail and have an evaluation and take classes. I argued with her and said I seen it with my own eyes that there was a temperature reading and she even admitted that there was but she says it wasn't high enough for her but she immediately dumped it within one second of walking in. Even though they make you sign a piece of paper stating that the temp has to be between 90-100 degrees. I had to spend $250 dollars of my own money for the evaluation and second test. I contacted my hall and company immediately and told them what they did. They said there is nothing they can do unless I have proof and they would throw it out because they have had multiple complaints about Construction Data Services. My advice to everyone is demand that you are able to bring in your phone and record the temperature afterward and the person that comes in.
Our company used Construction Data Services and I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this place. In the beginning there was no issues until I started getting complaints from my employees about one lady in particular. She always has an attitude and does things on purpose to make your employees mess up and flush the toilet which will make you sit there for hours and repeat the test or fail. Or I have even had instances where there were reports that she would throw away perfectly fine samples that read between 90-100 degrees and would say that since it didn't read right at 98 degrees. Making people sit there for hours to retake it or they will fail. Once you fail you have to have an evaluation and sometimes classes.
At first I thought it was just my employees but then after it happened multiple times there started to be a pattern. Construction Data Services would just so happen to suggest the same place to go to have the drug evaluation and sometimes classes which is VERY suspicious. They then make your employees pay for the second test. What tipped me off that they were screwing my employees is when my employees would go back and pass the test again days later after they had to go through hell and waste hundreds of dollars.
After I caught onto their little scam I went to a different company and haven't had one problem since. I feel bad what happened to my employees and knew that I had to put the word out there about what this company does to people.
