Crime Scene Investigator Diver Technologist International was created to assist law enforcement and others who specialize in the recovery of the drowned/submerged victim. Crime scene processing is such a unique field in forensic science and law enforcement that the submerged victim should not be investigated with any less dedication and protocol than the land based victim. The Diver Technologist must be trained as one of the safest divers in the industry, maintaining a high standard of Safe Diving Practices and Safe Diving Procedures. There must be a broad based multidisciplinary foundation ability as well as a working knowledge of the disciplines in forensic science and apply that knowledge to each element of the documentation process, including Understanding and identifying all evidence.
