John Apodaca founded Daddy-O's Martinis five years ago on the belief that there is no substitute for a well crafted cocktail. Hastily thrown together concoctions of candy colored syrup and vodka pale in comparison to the wide variety of flavors and aromas created by top shelf spirits, fresh fruit juices and bitters found in recipes from the past. A "Cocktail Classicist" by definition, John's current focus is on cocktails from the pre-revolutionary war period through the mid-1960s. He regularly tests cocktails discovered through his ongoing research, and those that meet with success end up on Daddy-O's client's cocktail lists.
