I have done business with many different excavating crews across the tri-state and never have I done business with a more incompetent man than Donald Hasenflue, the Owner of DHL Excavating. He is a conniving, lying, and down right dreadful individual. After being promised certain criteria would be met, he failed to fulfill any of the things he said he would. His quality of work was terrible, and when confronted by me about my displeasure with his work he became very hostile and belligerent. He would always smell of alcohol when he was on the job site, and he was always checking out early from work. I will never do business with this man or company again. Upon speaking with other people who have hired him, for such simple things as providing top soil, they all said the same thing. One man asked for sifted dirt which he was promised was the highest quality. He spent the next few weeks picking horse shoes and beer bottles out of the "sifted" top soil. Warning to anyone who may do business with this man, He is a SCAM ARTIST.
