Direct Messenger Service, Inc. Began serving the Kansas City area in 1967 with 1 dispatcher and 2 drivers. DMS now encompasses more than 8 office staff and over 40 drivers. Our drivers are not independent contractors, they are valued employees. This helps protect our customers from liability. Our outstanding dispatching team has a combined 50 years of dispatching experience. This gives our customers confidence that their needs will be taken care of efficiently. Every delivery request is entered into our database and assigned a sequential trip number for that day. If there is any question pertaining to a delivery, whether it is en-route or from a previous month, we have all the information at our fingertips. We are able to answer your questions within minutes. Our flexible billing process allows us to tailor our billing to meet each customers specific needs. Our invoices provide billing detail including date, trip number and brief description of the individual call. We can also supply specific information pertaining to each customer such as department names, reference numbers, job codes or any other information that may be requested
