Double Dragon Karate

We offer training in Korean Tang Soo Do. Sport Karate, LiL Dragons, Mommy & Me, Home School & After School programs, Yoga & Zumba Fitness classes.

We originally open the school in 2007 in Millington and recently relocated to Birch Run. The Head Instructors are Matthew and Andrew Rydell and they are both 3rd Degree Black Belts who have been teaching for many years. They have successfully competed throughout Michigan for years and were Team members in the World Karate Association. They firmly believe that competition brings out the best in students, it gives them a constructive way to show what they have been learning and lets them meet people who share a common interest and goals. Our students have an opportunity to join the Competition Team and the Demonstration Team. The DDK Demo Team provides classes or demonstrations to non-profit groups as a community service. We believe that Martial Arts can promote skills that last a lifetime!
