We are a full time mining operation specializing in Oregon Sunstone a rare Copper Bearing Labradorite, Feldspar only found in south central Oregon USA

Double Eagle Mining Company is a Plush Oregon Sunstone mining operation located in South Central Oregon. We are a locally owned and operated family business. We offer fee digging to the public from Memorial Day weekend to the first weekend of October, weather permitting. Our fees are $50.00 and $150.00, keep everything you find. At the mine we offer for sale, finished faceted Oregon Sunstone, Oregon Sunstone rough, and finished jewelry items set in silver. Custom cutting of rough and special or custom jewelry orders are also available. We are family oriented with a FREE CAMPING area at the mine. Groups are also welcome.
