Dr. Gabriel, a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon, spent three years as a full time academic spine surgeon at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gabriel served as an assistant professor and the director of the Division of Spine Surgery. He also served as the clinical director of the Biodynamics Laboratory in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gabriel completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and continued there for residency training in orthopaedic surgery, and orthopaedic research fellowship. He received postgraduate fellowship training in laminoplasty techniques at the Universities of Osaka, Hirosaki, and Chiba in Japan.
