The office of Dr. Sheila Jungmeyer provides dental services to all age groups. Our fun and friendly staff will make sure you are as relaxed and comfortable as possible. We ensure a very conservative approach to quality treatment to keep dental services as affordable as possible. The key to a long lasting healthy smile is prevention and frequent maintenance visits. Dr. Jungmeyer is committed to continued education and is passionate about her work. Dr Sheila Jungmeyer's dental practice is a clean and modern facility. We have a conservative approach and consider our patients to be more like friends and family.Dr Jungmeyer is originally from Eldon, Missouri near Lake of the Ozarks. During high school she worked for the family business, Jungmeyer Heating and Air Conditioning. Dr Jungmeyer learned the value of treating people right and that return business is what keeps things going. From her father she learned sheet metal work, welding, woodworking as well as balancing a checkbook and managing the financial issues with running a business. Dr Jungmeyer left Eldon to attend Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. In l992 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr Jungmeyer was recognized for outstanding achievement on National Boards and was in the Honor???s Program during Dental School. Dr Jungmeyer???s personal favorite achievement was being an elected class officer for three years during dental school. Before opening her practice in Lee???s Summit in l996, Dr Jungmeyer worked in a group practice. She gained clinical experience from Dr Dale Ewing and Dr Merle Nunemaker. Dr Ewing had been a practicing dentist for 50 years. There is much to be learned from that kind of experience. Dr Nunemaker is still practicing in South Kansas City and is very active in the Missouri Dental Association and the American Dental Association. The variety of clinical philosophy and second to none ethics was the best possible experience as a new graduate. Dr Jungmeyer is married and has three children. She has been a resident of Lee???s Summit since l996. Her hobbies include traveling, scuba diving, flying airplanes, snow skiing and keeping up with her kids. Her practice and family keep her very busy. She has found the best way to do business is to treat patients and employees like family. Her amazing staff keeps things running smoothly as possible.
