Business description

Board Certified Psychologist in private practice. Treat individuals and couples. Member of Medical Staff at Shore Memorial Hospital.

Treatment is always person-centered with the understanding that the "answer" always comes from within. Mindfulness practices are frequently utilized to help us see things as they are - thoughts only as thoughts, feelings only as feelings. The goal is to be where we are and not in the past which is no longer or in the future which does not exist - (worry, for example, is always about the future and not about what IS here and now). We are often on automatic pilot, i.e., mindless or worse yet, lost in out minds. The purpose of mindfulness practices is to get out of our minds and into our lives so that we can live fully, on purpose in the moment to moment miracle which is our life and to live that life with love and full acceptance with wisdom and compassion, fully present and truly alive.
