The Sanctuary Thrift Shoppe, located at 5000 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32940, (next to Home Depot & Fujiyama Steak House), opened on September 21st, and features 'like new' items for all you shopping fun to help provide funding to build a NO KILL, state-of-the-art SANCTUARY to be located on a minimum of 15-20 acres in Brevard County! The Sanctuary will be a place where at risk animals will reside in climate-controlled, sound-proof area, with access to the outdoors as needed. All domestic animals, including horses, cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, etc., will be welcomed, until they can find a loving forever home. Our mission will include rescue, rehabilitation, adoptions and community education and awareness to promote humane treatment and responsible pet ownership! Volunteers welcome!
