Internet radio simplified
Backbone provides professional quality, turnkey Internet radio stations and networks using easy, powerful Mac-based automation software hosted "in the cloud". Cloud-hosting enables live remote broadcasts from anywhere via wi-fi or 3G/4G connections.
Backbone technology is used by the Public Radio Exchange to power their Public Radio Remix station on Sirius/XM-123 and on the Internet, as well as major league sports and concert events. Backbone operates the IBS Student Radio Network for College & High School radio stations. It offers peer sharing of sports, news and music content among schools, as well as instantaneous "invisible" new-content digital delivery from third party syndicators. All of these stations are listed in the TuneIn directory, and most are also listed in iTunes Radio.
