Britishstone's proprietor Nick Blantern has been a qualified architectural carver and stonemason with over 24 years of experience. He studied and trained as an apprentice in Bristol, England and has worked on a number of prestigious projects in England and around the US. He perfected the craft restoring old English churches, government buildings and castles, including work on Buckingham Palace and Caldicot Castle. His work in the US can be found at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Santa Barbara County Courthouse, San Francisco City Hall, San Francisco Zoo and various high-end residential projects.
