Loomis Property Management got its start in spring 2008. After owner Adam Swedberg worked 3 years for the forest service and one and a half years logging he saw the opportunity to start doing fuels reduction work in the Havillah area, bought a 1960's era chipper and went to work. In 2009, LPM expanded to include doing residential tree work and upgraded chippers, to a Brush Bandit 250XP. LPM now provides residential services including climbing, pruning, shaping, view enhancement, hazard removal and chipping. Forestry work includes climbing, chipping, snag creation, fuels reduction, pruning, lop and scatter, excavator piling brush, hand piling, "wildlife" piles, burning slash (when conditions permit).
