Douglas Morgan (Marcus Oxendine's father) started cutting down trees at age 14 in 1965. He worked with other companies and for himself in Charlotte and surrounding areas for the next 49 years. While i was in college he trained my brother, Douglas Oxendine, to cut down trees, at age 15. In 2006 i asked my dad to let me take over the tree cutting business, he said "no". reluctantly he eventually allowed me to take over and we all have been working together since then.
