My life's goal is to prevent Organized Crime and Terrorists from using our computers to fund insurgents in Iraq and Afganistan to kill our own children. I was co-chairing the local chapter of the National Infrastucture Protection Center (NIPC) prior to 911. We had our FBI liason go after a breach to a local credit union, where Organized Crime had exorted $50,000. I now quote their response: "The bank account is in the Cayman Islands and is owned by an individual in Pakistan. There is nothing we can do about." It's up to us, if we don't stop it, then nobody will! Cyber Crime is the #1 source of income for Organized Crime and Terrorism. This is how al-Qaida funds the insurgents in Iraq and Afganistan. We can do more damage with avast! antivirus than we could with a bazooka or a tank!
