Joe has over 5 years of experience in retail print production/graphic design including Packaging, Circular ads, ROPs, In-Store Signage, Direct Mailers, Posters, Social Media Graphics and Showroom Graphics. Joe also has Editorial Design experience including Page Layout and Design, Web-based Periodicals and Web Graphics. You name it he can design it. Joe also has leadership and supervisory experience.Joe made his mark at PureRED with Supervalu’s Save-A-Lot account where he was instrumental in growing the account’s revenue from about $120K annually to roughly $400K annually. In February of 2013 Joe advanced from Production Lead Artist at PureRED on SuperValu’s Save-A-Lot account to PureRED’s Evening Shift Supervisor for the SuperValu account as a whole. This account included not only the above mentioned Save-A-Lot national account but also several other regional accounts. The Supervalu account generated well over $5 million annually. Joe Iead a group of 17 Account Executives and Production Artists on a nightly basis to improve overall performance, procedures and processes and insure all deadlines were met to fulfill the client’s every need. Joe’s career was really beginning to blossom at PureRED. Unfortunately, Joe was one of over thirty PureRED employees laid off in mid-June after Supervalu sold off the majority of their grocery properties.Always the opportunist, Joe took this turn of events to relocate to the greater New York City area in search of greater opportunities. It didn’t take long for Joe to pick back up when he took on a brief freelance opportunity at Lazard Asset Management. Based in the Rockefeller Center, Joe’s first taste of the New York design world won’t soon be forgotten. This freelance role was Joe’s first foray into the finance industry. This experience was cut short due to a full-time permanent job offer from the Daily Racing Form.Beginning in mid-August of 2013, Joe took on the role of Page and Graphic Designer at The Daily Racing Form. The Daily Racing Form is a national horse racing editorial and sports betting publication. This would be Joe’s first opportunity to work within an editorial department. Working on editorial page layouts with some web graphics and online betting products mixed in, Joe managed tight daily deadlines consistently.Currently, Joe works as a Package Designer for a leading seasonal product manufacturer based out of Carle Place, Long Island, NY.
