It all means something.
The question for each of us is, What? Am I missing something important?
Quality information (or Data) is information that minimizes uncertainty and enables quality decisions.
Quality decisions are those decisions that produce expected or hoped-for results.
There isn't a single business on the planet that has a record of 100% quality decisions. Often we are happy if half of our decisions produce what we hoped for and most of the time we describe our expectations in terms of hope. The reason for this is easily stated but extremely difficult to remedy. The difference between Expect and Hope is a plan.
Decisions launch plans and plans require the completion of multiple tasks. A single task can be the difference between "Yes!!!" and "Oh, no!!!" Don't be the one who relies on the unreliable. How reliable is your information?
