Although based in Texas, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction extended its services to Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina hit the state in 2005. One of the first contractors to begin rebuilding after the hurricane, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction later founded a permanent office in Kenner, a suburb of New Orleans. For its efforts in New Orleans, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction received several awards and earned the number one slot on New Orleans CityBusiness' list of fastest growing companies.
