Dr. Osterman is in solo private practice and personally provides all medical care. Initial evaluations are scheduled for 45 minutes, consisting of a comprehensive medical history, neurologic exam, review of medical records, diagnosis and management of your child's condition. As clinically indicated, further testing may be pursued. Electroencephalography(EEG) is available in-office. Neuroimaging(CT/MRI), lab testing, or neuropsychological evaluation may be recommended as determined by your child's needs. Long-term video EEG in hospital or video ambulatory EEG in the home are obtained as required. Dr. Osterman's expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of seizures, and the various spells that may mimic a seizure: staring and breath holding spells, syncope/fainting spells, sleep and movement disorders, migraine and migraine variants, as well as various behavioral and psychological disorders. Dr. Osterman is also expert in evaluation and management of concussion, headaches, dizzy spells, tics and Tourette syndrome, learning and attentional problems, autism, developmental delay, abnormal head shape, and torticollis/head tilt.
