With two beautifully restored 1920's Steinway Model D (9-foot) Concert & Artist grand pianos, few recording studios have this setup available (outside a college or university). Concert pianist, Dr. Steven Hall, with his more than 35 years of experience as a recording engineer can make you sound your very best, whether you play a stringed, woodwind or brass instrument. Vintage Neumann U-87 microphones powered through a John-Hardy M-1 preamp are the core of the studio's sound. Recording/editing software includes Samplitude with a variety of high-end plug-ins including Sonnox, Solid State Logic, Waves and Lexicon reverb. In addition to the recording, artwork (J-Card, Tray Card, and CD/DVD cover) can be produced in-house for a limited run or prepared for export to a disc manufacturer.
