Practicing in Bangor and Machias, DeeEtte's experience with massage, body/mind awareness and bodywork comes from over 2,000 hours of hands-on training. DeeEtte's specialty and passion is Myofascial Release. She has studied extensively with the world's leading expert, John F. Barnes, P.T., since 1999. She traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, to study Thai massage at the Wat Po Traditional School of Medicine. DeeEtte received her Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine from Everglades University in Boca Raton, FL. DeeEtte is a Reiki Master/Instructor, teaching all levels, including Karuna, in Bangor, Machias, Kentucky, St. Louis, Maine and on beautiful Puerto Rico. DeeEtte has been an Approved Provider for The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork as a continued education instructor for Reiki since 2010. Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shway), The Chinese Art of Placement, has been a passion of DeeEtte's since the mid 1990's when companies in Bangor and home owners began consulting DeeEtte about the benefits of Feng Shui. DeeEtte has studied at The Center for Feng Shui and Intuitive Arts in New Hampshire and taken multiple semesters of Chinese Medicine and Feng Shui at Everglades University in Boca Raton, Florida. She offers classes or private consults in homes and business offices in Machias and Bangor. DeeEtte has studied the Yang style of Tai Chi for 15 yrs. She completed Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis Instructor/Leader Level course in 2013.
