Custom-made lamps with handmade lampshades are the specialty of this gift shoppe, as well as other American made home decor products.

Shades ETC was started in 2005 when I couldn't find a lampshade in the local stores to fit my lamps. After taking several classes in lampshade making, I started doing craft shows which quickly became tiring. So I decided to open up Exquisite Things Gift Shoppe in Bemus Point, NY in 2011. I will offer unique handmade gifts for housewarmings, baby, holidays, and graduation gifts. We offer custom-made home decor gifts, as well as, repairing or replacing older lampshades. The products will be locally made or mostly made in the USA. A percentage of the profits will go to supporting an orphanage in Chittoor, India.
