Robin Rovick is an experienced and caring Orton-Gillingham reading therapist and tutor who offers specialized one-on-one private reading instruction. She is passionate about all children and adults having the opportunity to read fluently, accurately, and with enjoyment. When a student begins tutoring they immediately begin building phonemic awareness, phonics skills, sound-symbol connections, and supporting skills. Reading and spelling are taught simultaneously so reading fluency and writing can strengthen quickly. Robin uses the original Orton-Gillingham method with each instructional lesson customized specifically for that learner's needs. Every O-G lesson is diagnostic and thorough so the student building a good foundation and continues to make progress - success is motivating!
