Devereux California is part of the largest nonprofit behavioral health care provider of services in the United States. Established by Helena Devereux in PA in 1912 and in CA in 1945, Devereux California serves 75 adults, age 18 through life span, on a 4-acre campus in a residential and day program; and through Supported Living Services in individuals' homes and apartments throughout Santa Barbara County. Approx. 130 well-trained staff provide individualized services to the level needed by the client, from banking and shopping and recreational support, to 24-7 support for adults with Autism. Person-centered planning and choice by the individual is key to Devereux's mission of inspiring hope and empowering lives.
