The Speech & Language Center at Stone Oak is located inside the Sonterra Medical Park in Building Two (225 E. Sonterra Blvd., Ste. 120, San Antonio, TX, 78258).We provide speech and language evaluation & treatment for mostly children, but also adolescents & adults. We also provide infant & pediatric feeding evaluation & treatment, as well as reading, spelling & writing individual support classes, reading / dyslexia screening, and preschool screening services. We are also very unique in that we offer appointments during after normal business hours called "Twilight Speech."We are informally known as "Stone Oak Speech" or "Speech Chix" and also occasionally called the "Sonterra Speech", but our actual business name is the Speech & Language Center at Stone Oak.We are staffed with over 20+ professional therapists (AKA the Speech Chix) with required Texas licenses and the training involving a master's degree in speech pathology. Our friendly office staff can guide you along your way in understanding what your speech therapy needs require and they can help you along your path through evaluation and treatment.Speech therapy is an integral part of many lives. The act of communicating distinguishes us as human beings, whether it is through speech, print, gestures, pictures, or simply a look. Facilitating the process to reach communication potential is the primary goal of the Speech & Language Center at Stone Oak. Communication is very important to all, in fact, communication is for life!
