Splice Design Group is a Maryland-based graphic design firm that combines imaginative concepts with flawless execution to achieve memorable results. Co-founded by Cathy Schaefer and Ken Karlic, Splice Design Group merges various graphic design disciplines including brand identity, print, websites, signage and environmental design to provide world-class, meaningful visual communications. Cathy Schaefer and Ken Karlic graduated together from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1986. Since then, each went in different directions to pursue their professional careers. Almost 25 years later, Cathy and Ken reconnected in Maryland, and created Splice Design Group. Every project, large and small, benefits from their combined experience and insight.
