A designer-builder designs the homes he builds and builds the homes he designs. A home designed to be built should be structurally practical, suited to its location, and highly livable. The designer-builder keeps costs in mind during the design phase, when it is relatively easy to modify the floor-plan or to simplify something in order to reduce expense. Once construction begins, Peter Asher Designs can make adjustments and modifications on the fly. No need to refer plans back to an architect. The designer and the owner together can take advantage of a newly-discovered view or an unused space. Also, for design-only projects, we can work with the owner's chosen builder.
