At Pathways Academy, both independent study (blended learning) and homeschooling models of education are embraced as learning options for students to succeed. We believe that both learning options are a viable option for the parent, student, and teacher to develop a necessary plan for the student to succeed.Every child deserves an opportunity to be successful in school and in life. Together, we develop a path (plan) that helps children to become educated and employed to meet the rigorous demands in a competitive global environment. Our focus is to facilitate the growth of our students so that they will become life-long learners, critical thinkers, agents of change and effective communicators. Our students encourage respect, become servants in their community, and develop the skills to be a digital native. This will enable all children at Pathways Academy to become successful and employable with the needs that the 21st Century demands.Pathways Academy provides an individualized, blended instruction that enables students to go at their own pace and receive the help they deserve. Students can either work from home or go to the learning center and receive instruction from Credentialed California teachers. The choice is up to the students as long as they are meeting their learning plan and making academic progress.
