When the Head Instructor, Sifu Kevin Miller formed Bei Shaolin Kung Fu Institute in Memphis, he did so to structure it around the family. Sifu Kevin Miller began his training in Kung Fu at the age of 12 years old under his older brother; Sifu Danny Miller in Southern Hung Gar & Preying Mantis. In his early 20's he had the privilege of meeting a highly respected master but now Grandmaster of Northern Shaolin Kuo Shu (Shaolin Quan Far - Shaolin Fighting Methods), Mai Wah Quan (Plum Flower Fist), and Tai Chi Chuan systems by the name of Andrew Lee and had the privilege of receiving the title of master under his mentor of Kung Fu.
