Building Waterproofing Experts is a division (sister-company) of Terra-Petra--founded in 2002 for the purpose of providing consulting, testing, design and inspection services for methane gas mitigation. Since then Terra-Petra has expanded its services to include all types of contaminated soil remediation and mitigation. Because of the nature of its work in environmental engineering, Terra-Petra became experts in waterproofing and drainage and launched Building Waterproofing Experts in 2010. Many of the Soil Gas Barriers on the market today were originally designed as waterproofing barriers. For years Terra-Petra has been specifying and designing soil gas barrier systems for structures having large below grade elements.
