These Yoga classes promote vitality and well-being as well as flexibility, strength and balance in body, mind and spirit. People of all ages and physical abilities find this stile of yoga helpful in reducing stress, tension and pain. Classes include active and passive poses, breathing exercises and meditation. Props are utilized to improve alignment and to offer a wider variety of poses. Jeanette Schmid has been teaching over 21 years, in various locations. She studied with several nationally recognized Iyengar Yoga teachers and owned a studio. The Saco classes are in a beautiful healing space right on Main Street.
