The Meditation Center is a guide / resource for the Twin Cities Yoga community teaching the philosophy and science of Raja Yoga at all levels.
Founded 40 years ago by Swami Veda Bharati, a spiritual teacher recognized throughout the world and disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, the Meditation Center today continues to offer classes in all aspects of yoga, based on the Himalayan Tradition of Yoga Meditation. This tradition is distinguished in that it is the most comprehensive, and the most all-inclusive of the major meditative traditions. The Himalayan Yoga Tradition includes all levels of Hatha Yoga and Meditation through "Raja Yoga", breath awareness, repetition of the mantra (sound), posture, Kundalini breathing and more.
