Sheryl's School of Dance offers a broad program of dance activities for 3 year olds to adults of all levels. Our philosophy is to provide a positive learning experience. We aim to promote the personal development of each student, in body, intellect and imagination. Quality instruction encourages each person to expand movement capabilities, self-expression, poise and confidence. Our aim is to increase each student's level of self-esteem, deepen their enjoyment of movement, challenge their creativity, increase body coordination and control, gain socialization and interaction skills, develop an awareness of the body and how it moves through space and time. RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Our recreational dance program is available for all ages of children and adults. Dance classes are available in the areas of tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and lyrical. COMPETITION PROGRAM The more serious minded student is afforded with a dance program geared to dancing competitively on local and national levels. This student can expect to learn a high level of complex dance choreography and stage presence. Our dance teachers are national competitive winners themselves and they expect a high degree of excellence in each and every student in the competitive program. They challenge their students in every aspect. PRESCHOOL PROGRAM Preschoolers have a place a Sheryl's School of Dance.
