The Lion & the Rose is a bed and breakfast in the National Historic District of Montford in downtown Asheville, NC. The inn has five guest rooms, each with ensuite bath, and also has the following common areas that are accessable to guests; two parlors, dining room, guest pantry, inglenook with fireplace, verandah, and gardens. This pink Queen Anne sits on large lot with sloping lawn and lush landscpaing. A complete gourmet breakfast is served daily by candlelight. The interior is furnished with unique antiques and period appointments. The original golden oak is in pristine condition as it was never painted. All the rooms have plaster, jigh ceilings, crown molding, etc. Maintenance is ongoing.
