Allen Yard, PLS, a native of Waterford, Pennsylvania, holds a degree in Mathematics and Education from Grove City College. Upon college graduation, Allen accepted a position as a survey crew rodman for Terry Land Measurement, in Fairfax, Virginia. During his employment at Terry Land Measurement, he progressed from rodman to party chief as he gained knowledge and honed his skills in topographic, boundary, and construction surveying and drafting. In 1993, Allen returned to Pennsylvania and, in 2005, obtained his Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.In 2014, with over 19 years of surveying experience, including boundary, subdivisions, construction layout, as-builts, A.L.T.A. surveys, gas well plats, elevations certificates, topographic surveys, and stormwater management design, Allen Yard opened his own business, A.R.E.A. Surveying, in Waterford, Pennsylvania. His goal is to meet each client’s needs by providing timely, efficient, professional service.
