The Skyler Mackenzie Sharp Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to support, inform, and educate people about Down Syndrome.
Our goal is simple. We want to help people, young parents, who have children or family members who are born with Down Syndrome. It is paramount that families find support and encourgagement, have help in developing a Plan for Life, from Day 1 for their special needs child.
These needs may be wide and varying and as different as each child, so information provided needs to be customized to each individual need. The heart of our foundation is to help meet those needs, either through information or other support.
The challenges facing each family should also be balanced by the knowledge that each of these :"special children" bring joy and love into our lives and deserve every opportunity available to them so they, too, can live af ull and productive life.
