After working as a chimney sweep technician for several years, he started working towards his C.S.I.A certification. After taking trade related classes, workshops, and more on the job training in Omaha, Nebraska and Des Moines, Iowa he obtained his certified chimney sweep credentials through the Chimney Safety Institute of America.
