In 1934, Morris Levin and his son, George, opened a small plumbing shop and scrap metal yard along old Hwy 99 in Tulare, CA. Over the years, George Levin transformed the family business into a 25,000 sq. ft. Hardware Store and full service Contracting Department (A/C, Heating, Electrical, Plumbing and Underground services). Today MLS is owned and operated by George's daughter, Marilyn Atlas, her husband, Paul, and their son, David. MLS continues to meet the challenge of growing competition by focusing on superior customer service and expanding product lines that meet the needs of both residential and commercial customers. George Levin instilled our "Code 1" Service Philosophy (where EVERY customer receives personal attention), and it continues to this day.
