Accent Photographics was started in 2008 by Lifestyle Photographer Shuva Rahim, whose approach to photography is a documentary, interactive experience for children, families and wedding couples. Serving the Quad Cities, Iowa City and Cedar Rapids areas, Shuva's documentary style has been reflected in the nearly 50 weddings and events shot since Accent Photographics was founded.. She also photographs maternity, newborns, children, families and high school seniors - and donates her talent to major fundraisers for the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, March of Dimes and American Heart Association. Shuva also works on editorial projects for The Iowan magazine. In spring 2010 she shot the cover photo for Triumph, the national donor magazine for the American Cancer Society.
