East Side Prescription Center is a neighborhood pharmacy with a convenient grocery department as well a great selection of beer, wines and liquor.
East Side Prescription Center was established by Richard Backer in 1977. Located one mile north of Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design, we service their student and faculty with free delivery service to their health services. Johnson and Wales University and Providence College also find us convenient. Most health insurance plans are accepted including BCBSRI, United Health, Neighborhood Health Plans, Tufts Health, and many national plans. Our wait times on RX are usually no longer the 5 minutes. We also work with physicians and insurance companies when problems or issues occur to make sure our customers needs our met.
