Innkeepers, Andy and Karen Fisher, cruised into Belhaven via the Intracoastal Waterway on their 32' Nordic Tug "Whistling Gopher" in November 2002. It was love at first sight for the Fishers. They thoroughly enjoyed the Southern hospitality of Belhaven's residents. Friendly waves, sincere smiles, and caring conversations are "the Norm" in this little town of approximately 1900 people.Andy, a Realtor since 1970, and Karen began major renovations on their new B&B in October 2004. After 10 months of major renovations, you now find Karen, a retired teacher, and Andy, a Realtor since 1970, greeting guests at their new B&B. They proudly opened Belhaven Water Street Bed & Breakfast, Ltd. in June 2005.
