Acorns Resort began in Spring 2007 on 98 acres set against the backdrop of beautiful Milford Lake, Kansas. Every year has brought the addition of something new and exciting to Acorns resort.We are pleased to offer our guests a variety of custom-built log cabins or our Flint Hills Lodge with all the modern extras. For our guests with campers, we offer several different types of RV Sites for your convenience and secluded tent camping for those looking to 'rough it'. On-site indoor and outdoor storage for your boat or camper is available, as well covered boat slips.Milford Lake, Kansas, and the Flint Hills area is known for world class fishing and hunting, but Acorns Resort offers so much more including Pontoon boat, canoe and kayak rental and sales. Our over 3 miles of nature trails play host to a series of trail races throughout the year, along with offering guests a chance to explore the hidden beauty of the area. If relaxing on the beach is more for you, our large sandy swimming beach is the perfect place to cool off and soak up the sun.We are proud to offer a different setting and experience to guests of Milford Lake, Kansas, and a refreshing alternative to hotel lodging in the Junction City, Manhattan and Fort Riley area. Planning and construction at the resort will continue over the next few years as we move towards becoming a world class resort destination.
