Abelite is a cutting edge and break-through 4th generation High Level Synthesis (HLS) technology for very large digital systems with complex control and data flow parts. It performs fully automatic synthesis of digital systems from Electronic System Level (ESL) specification to a Hardware Description Language (HDL) at Register Transition Level (RTL). Abelite is using Algorithmic State Machines (ASMs) for graphical description of system behavior. ASM hierarchical models and their transformations are also used at all stages of behavior and structural synthesis. The technology and concept is proven and implemented as a fast and powerful prototype and it allows rapidly implementing, optimizing, checking/verifying, and estimating multiple design versions.
