Currently owned by Actuality Entertainment, The Prodigy was a reality TV show created by the executive team at Firstline Security, Inc., to find promising sales talent across the nation. The purpose of the show was to identify these qualified sales representatives in a new, engaging, and sustainable format that minimized recruiting costs. The brainchild of Firstline CMO Bryan Ferre, The Prodigy followed contestants as they learned the basics of customer sales, developed business presentations, and competed to sell products. Each week of the show featured a skills competition, evaluated by a guest judge, as well as sales presentations to customers. Contestants were also evaluated based on their sales performance.
