I custom make valances, draperies, pillows, etc. for your home. I have more than 20 years of experience and I can truly say I love what I do. I consider myself to be a fabric artist as I can take a flat piece of fabric and manipulate it until it becomes a work of art to frame your window. Just like an artist stares at what seems to be a blank canvas and sees a picture, when I look at a piece of fabric I see a valance hanging at a window or a group of pillows on a sofa or on a bed. I came up with the concept of hiding the rod pocket on the back of a valance so that the valance could have a more contemporary look and feel. I like the fact that this will make valances easier and less expensive to ship and they easier to press or steam before installing since they aren't attached to a board.
