Joel Anderson is based in Ojai, California. Photographic prints by Anderson were purchased by Beatrice Wood for her private collection, now residing at the Smithsonian Institution.Joel has compiled an extensive professional photographic film & digital archives while photographing a range of subjects consistently for publication. In the process, he has been allowed a unique view of documentary-art-photography life. He has also documented his uncle, Walt Dice' life. Walt was a second generation photographer who traveled the U.S. during the early through mid 20th century, operated a studio in the midwest, as well as early shooting for fire and police departments.
