t all started in 1994, when our founder was working at a shade company specializing in shade structures. Through the years he felt there must be a better way to provide shade where people wanted it, rather than setting a square over a space and calling it shade. Through his research, he learned about shade sails and other types of tensioned fabric shade structures. Several years later he formed Shade Central, LLC, now Shade Industries.
