MCO has evolved into a multifaceted, full service company over the years. As the market changed, and new needs arose, MCO diversified from its original construction, demolition and asbestos abatement functions to mold remediation, lead paint abatement, soil contamination, radon gas measurement and mitigation, emergency response, and indoor air quality. All environmental contracts are completed in-house. No subcontractors are involved. In 1998, it added landscaping, painting, waterproofing, and repair work. Even though new activities were incorporated, the firm continued to contract design-build projects. MCO is a unique company.
