I fell in love with photography as a teenager while backpacking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I wanted a way to take the beauty of those places home with me and photography provided the perfect avenue for me to accomplish that wish. Life has taken me down many paths and I have been blessed with the ability to try many things. However, my love for photography has remained constant. Throughout the years, both family and friends have not only complimented me on my natural eye for photography, but also tried to encourage me to get into photography professionally. I do this now for all those who have inspired and had faith in me. This site is my way of offering to you the opportunity to take home a piece of the beauty in our world as seen though my eyes both now and in years to come. I currently live in Sonoma County in Northern California. I relocated here from Los Angeles in 1987. I'm married to my beautiful wife Sandra and we have have two incredible daughters, Ashley and Katelyn. My equipment consist of Nikon D300 and D600 with a wide range of lenses. I do most of my photo editing with Lightroom 4. I use Photomatix Pro for my HDR images. I'm self taught and continue to learn everyday. I hope all who view and wish to share my pictures will enjoy this visual journey with me.
